Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ Electric Sedan Launches in Malaysia from RM274,888
The new 800V electric sedan offers over 700km of range and arrives with a price tag significantly lower than initial estimates.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ EV has officially arrived in the Malaysian market, marking the brandโs latest addition to its local electric vehicle lineup. Following the launch of the G-Class EV in June, this new electric sedan is now available with a starting price of RM274,888. This figure is notably RM21,000 lower than the RM295,888 estimate previously announced during the preview event held in January.
According to the original publisher, the vehicle features an 800V architecture and boasts a range exceeding 700km. To support the ownership experience, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is offering the car with a standard 4-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, while the EV battery is covered by an 8-year or 160,000km warranty. Customers also receive a free AC wallbox, although the costs associated with installation are not included in the package.
For those interested in financing, the manufacturer has introduced the Agility+ plan, which allows customers to acquire the CLA 250+ EV with monthly installments starting from RM2,988. This financing option provides additional value, including one extra year of vehicle warranty and four Compact Service Packages.
The introduction of the CLA 250+ EV at this price point represents a significant move for Mercedes-Benz in the local premium electric vehicle segment. By undercutting the projected pricing, the company is positioning the sedan to compete more aggressively in Malaysia's rapidly growing EV market. As the country continues to expand its charging infrastructure and EV adoption rates, the availability of high-range luxury electric options like the CLA 250+ provides Malaysian consumers with a more accessible entry into the brand's electric mobility future.
