Pepper Labs Launches 50,000 AI Training Spots for Malaysians

Pepper Labs has officially launched 50,000 AI learning opportunities for Malaysians under its new AI-Ready Malaysia initiative. The program, launched by Minister of Digital Gobind Singh Deo, aims to accelerate national AI readiness by providing practical skills to the workforce. This effort is supported by funding from AVPN, Google.org, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

According to the original publisher, the launch coincides with the 11th anniversary of Pepper Labs. The company has evolved from a social impact enterprise into a significant player in the Malaysian tech landscape, focusing on workforce development, sovereign AI platforms, and enterprise-level AI transformation.

A key component of the new initiative is the rollout of Bisnes.ai, a sovereign AI platform designed to assist micro-entrepreneurs and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). The platform provides essential support in areas such as document preparation, marketing strategies, and regulatory compliance.

Beyond support for small businesses, Pepper Labs introduced over 40 agentic AI solutions. These tools are designed for use within government agencies to assist with policy development, grant assessment processes, and the orchestration of autonomous workflows.

For Malaysia, these developments represent a strategic shift toward integrating artificial intelligence into both public and private sector operations. By fostering local AI talent and deploying sovereign infrastructure, the initiative seeks to ensure that businesses and government bodies have the necessary tools to navigate an increasingly automated digital economy.
