YBS International Subsidiary To Purchase Perai Industrial Property For RM23.5 Million

Oriental Fastech Manufacturing is set to acquire a factory site in Penang to expand its operational footprint.

YBS International Bhd has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Oriental Fastech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (OFM), has entered into a definitive sale and purchase agreement to acquire a factory property located in Perai, Penang. The transaction is valued at RM23.5 million and will be satisfied entirely in cash.

According to the original publisher, the agreement was officially signed between OFM and the vendor, Premium Starhill Sdn Bhd, on August 17, 2026. The acquisition involves a parcel of land and its associated industrial improvements situated within the well-established Perai industrial zone.

This strategic move marks a significant capital expenditure for YBS International as it looks to secure additional infrastructure. By acquiring this facility, the company aims to bolster the manufacturing capabilities of its subsidiary, Oriental Fastech Manufacturing, within the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

The industrial property market in Penang continues to remain a focal point for manufacturing firms seeking to consolidate or expand their production capacity. For Malaysian investors and industry observers, this acquisition reflects ongoing activity within the manufacturing sector as companies look to strengthen their physical presence in established industrial hubs to support long-term operational growth.
