AI Malaysia Takeover 2026 to Focus on National Digital Execution

The upcoming August summit aims to shift Malaysia’s digital strategy toward mass adoption and technical skills development.

Following the success of the inaugural ASEAN AI Malaysia Summit 2025, which drew over 10,000 participants and convened digital ministers from six ASEAN nations, Ludic Asia has announced the AI Malaysia Takeover 2026. The event is scheduled to take place on 11 and 12 August at The Campus, Ampang.

According to the original publisher, the initiative is co-organised by Ludic Asia and 500 Global, with support from the Ministry of Digital and MyDIGITAL Corp as a strategic partner. While previous dialogues focused on regional policy and cross-border infrastructure, this year’s event pivots toward nationwide execution, technical empowerment, and mass digital participation.

A central component of this initiative is the launch of the Rakyat Digital portal. This platform is designed to consolidate digital learning opportunities, provide future-ready skills training, and ensure accessible AI resources are available to the public. The event intends to establish a new standard for governance, innovation, and mass adoption across the country.

As a transformative nationwide platform, AIMTO_26 represents a significant step in Malaysia’s artificial intelligence readiness. By moving beyond high-level regional discourse, the organisers aim to implement practical frameworks that will define the nation's AI trajectory in the coming years.
