BYD Malaysia Announces Merdeka Promotional Rebates for Atto 3 and Sealion 7
Customers can enjoy significant price reductions on selected 2026 BYD electric vehicle models throughout the Merdeka promotional period.

BYD Malaysia has officially introduced the Merdeka Dreams Deal, offering substantial rebates on its 2026 electric vehicle lineup. The promotion includes notable price cuts for both the Atto 3 and the recently launched Sealion 7, providing a timely incentive for those looking to transition to electric mobility.
According to the original publisher, the 2026 BYD Atto 3 is now available with a rebate of RM14,000. Under this promotion, the Atto 3 Ultra variant is priced at RM111,800, down from its original recommended retail price of RM125,800. Additionally, the Atto 3 Premium is now available for RM124,800, reduced from RM138,800.
The 2026 Sealion 7, which arrived in the Malaysian market just a few weeks ago, also benefits from the promotion with savings of up to RM7,000. The Sealion 7 Dynamic is now priced at RM159,800 after a RM4,000 discount. The Premium variant receives a RM7,000 rebate, bringing its price to RM181,800, while the Performance variant sees a RM6,000 reduction, setting its price at RM197,800.
While the official end date for the Merdeka Dreams Deal remains unconfirmed, the campaign is expected to run through the end of September. Beyond the direct vehicle rebates, customers who purchase any BYD model during this period are entered into a lucky draw. Potential prizes include gold bars, exclusive event experiences, tickets to the AllStar Legends event this October, and autographed jerseys from football legends.
This promotional initiative serves as a significant price adjustment for the competitive Malaysian EV market. By lowering the entry point for its popular SUV models, BYD is positioning its latest 2026 offerings to appeal to a broader segment of local consumers as Malaysia continues to push for wider electric vehicle adoption.
