DPS Resources Partners With CEIG for Melaka Data Centre Development

DPS Resources Bhd has announced that its subsidiaries have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CEIG (M) Sdn Bhd to collaborate on the development of data centres and their necessary supporting energy infrastructure. The agreement focuses on the state of Melaka as the primary location for these future projects.

The collaborative initiative involves two specific subsidiaries under the DPS Resources group: DPS Energy Sdn Bhd and Shantawood Sdn Bhd. They will work alongside CEIG (M) Sdn Bhd, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the China Energy International Group Co Ltd.

According to the original publisher, the scope of this partnership is designed to cover the planning and exploration of data centre facilities. Furthermore, the MoU outlines plans to develop the energy infrastructure required to support the high power demands associated with such technical operations in the region.
