This strategic expansion aims to position the company for future growth within the ceramic tile sector. A central component of this investment is the introduction of advanced slab production technology. To facilitate this technological upgrade, Guocera has entered into a formal partnership with Italy-based Siti B&T Gruppo.
According to the original publisher, this facility expansion and the integration of new machinery are expected to provide Guocera with significant operational capabilities. Analysts from Kenanga Research have reviewed the project, noting that the move could enable specific performance improvements for the company following the implementation of the Italian-engineered systems.
The move marks a significant financial commitment by Hong Leong Industries toward modernizing its industrial base in Malaysia. By shifting toward Industry 4.0 standards, the company is aligning its manufacturing processes with global technological trends in the building materials industry.
