Leaked Ticket Prices For F1 Sepang Race Reveal MyKad Special Rates
Bahrain Grand Prix organizers have leaked three-day ticket pricing for the upcoming race at Sepang, with discounted rates available for Malaysian citizens.

Ticket prices for the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit have been leaked ahead of the October 4 event. Following the surprise announcement that Malaysia would host this year’s Bahrain-branded race, details regarding entry costs have surfaced, showing a range of options for local attendees.
According to the original publisher, the Bahraini government is retaining all ticket revenue to cover the high hosting and licensing fees associated with the event. While prices are significantly higher than the final 2017 race in Malaysia, where tickets started below RM60, the new rates remain competitive compared to regional alternatives.
For Malaysians with a valid MyKad, three-day passes start at RM200 for Hillstand G. Other hillstand options, including B and C, are priced at RM809.60. Those seeking covered grandstand seating can purchase tickets starting from RM1,291.40 for Grandstand F, while Grandstand K1 is priced at RM1,386. The premium Main Grandstand tickets are set at RM2,083 for the full three-day duration.
These discounted MyKad rates contrast sharply with the pricing for foreign visitors, who must pay higher fees. For instance, international attendees face costs of US$218.90 (RM895) for hillstands B and C, and US$376.39 (RM1,538) for Grandstand seats.
The pricing structure also highlights the local cost-benefit compared to the Singapore Grand Prix, which takes place the following week. Even the most affordable three-day entry for the Singapore event starts at approximately S$548, or RM2,240. For local racing fans, these figures provide a clearer picture of the financial commitment required to attend the return of Formula 1 to Sepang, marking a significant milestone in the country’s sporting calendar for 2026.
