BYD Sime Darby Motors has officially introduced the BYD Atto 3 Performance, an all-wheel-drive variant of the popular electric SUV that joins the existing Ultra and Premium models. The BYD Atto 3 Performance is priced at RM149,800, a figure that excludes registration, inspection fees, and insurance costs. To incentivize early adopters, the company is offering two distinct purchase packages. Buyers can select a complimentary AC wallbox charger inclusive of standard installation, paired with an overtrade value of up to RM6,000. Alternatively, customers may opt for a 6-year standard service package alongside a slightly reduced overtrade value of up to RM5,000.

In terms of aesthetics, the Performance variant maintains the design language of the 2026 Atto 3 Ultra lineup. Customers have the choice of four exterior paint options: Ski White, Harbour Grey, Cosmos Black, and Atlantis Grey. As reported by the original publisher, the vehicle is supported by a 6-year or 150,000 km warranty, with additional coverage provided for the drive unit and the high-voltage Blade Battery.

The arrival of an AWD variant at this price point represents a strategic move for the Malaysian EV market.
