Macnica Acquires Majority Stake in Malaysian-Founded Orangeleaf Consulting

Japanese technology solutions provider Macnica Inc. has acquired a majority stake in Orangeleaf Consulting Holdings Co (OLC), a digital transformation and enterprise software firm. OLC was founded in Malaysia and maintains operations across Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore. While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the move integrates OLC’s specialized consulting expertise into Macnica’s global operations.

Macnica, headquartered in Yokohama, brings 50 years of experience in semiconductors, cybersecurity, AI, IoT, and smart manufacturing to the partnership. The company currently maintains a global footprint spanning 91 locations across 28 countries. According to the original publisher, this acquisition is designed to combine the complementary strengths of both entities to scale AI and digital transformation efforts for manufacturing clients.

By merging these capabilities, the companies intend to provide customers with an integrated transformation journey. This approach will span from initial application development through to in-sourcing, ensuring that clients can effectively manage their digital evolution.
