Mitsubishi Triton Single Cab Auto Debuts as Work-Ready Fleet Solution

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has officially launched the Triton Single Cab AT, providing a new two-pedal option for the commercial sector at a price of RM107,980 on-the-road before insurance for private Peninsular Malaysia registration.

Positioned as a premium alternative to the manual version, the new variant commands a price premium of RM6,000. According to the original publisher, the vehicle is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, bridging the gap for fleet operators who prioritize ease of use and reduced driver fatigue in heavy-duty logistics or construction environments.

Under the hood, the Single Cab AT retains the reliable 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine, producing 184 PS and 430 Nm of torque. It features the Easy Select 4WD system, allowing drivers to toggle between 2H, 4H, and 4L modes. The utility aspect remains a priority, with a payload capacity of 1,145 kg and a cargo bed measuring 2,340 x 1,580 x 515 mm.

Standard equipment includes 17-inch steel wheels wrapped in 265/65 all-terrain tyres, a bedliner, black rear bumper, and black vinyl seats. Safety features include three airbags, with one specifically dedicated to the driver’s knees, along with added convenience from reverse sensors, auto lights, and auto wipers.
