Rapid KL Announces Fourth Annual Eksplorasi Merdeka Event
The rail and bus network-based competition returns this September to celebrate Malaysia’s National Month.

Eksplorasi Merdeka Rapid KL 4.0 is set to return on September 5, marking the fourth installment of the transport-themed event. Held in conjunction with Malaysia’s National Month celebrations, the competition invites participants to traverse Kuala Lumpur using the city’s extensive public rail and bus network.
The event will officially commence at the Putra Heights Station. According to the original publisher, the program is designed to engage commuters through a variety of tasks, including challenges, quizzes, and other interactive activities situated across the transit system.
By utilizing the capital’s existing infrastructure, the organizers aim to provide an immersive experience for those navigating the rapid transit lines. Participants will be tasked with moving across different transit hubs, highlighting the connectivity and reach of the current Rapid KL service network.
This annual event serves as a platform to encourage public engagement with the city's transport ecosystem during the National Month. For Malaysian commuters, it provides a unique opportunity to interact with the rail and bus network while participating in community-focused activities that celebrate the spirit of Merdeka.
