RM200 F1 Bahrain Grand Prix Tickets Sell Out Rapidly
Youth and Sports Minister Dr Taufiq Johari is exploring the possibility of releasing more budget-friendly tickets following overwhelming demand.

The RM200 tickets for the upcoming Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit have officially sold out. These discounted entry passes, referred to as Madani tickets, were designated exclusively for Malaysian citizens and provided access to the G Hillstand for the three-day race event.
According to the original publisher, Lowyat.NET, Youth and Sports Minister Dr Taufiq Johari confirmed that the Sepang International Circuit reported exceptionally strong demand immediately after the sales window opened. In response to this high volume of interest from the public, the government is currently evaluating the feasibility of making additional tickets available for the event. Further updates regarding potential ticket releases are expected to be announced periodically as the situation develops.
The race weekend is scheduled to take place from 2 to 4 October 2026. This year’s event at the Sepang circuit is unique as it hosts the Bahrain Grand Prix, which was relocated from its original venue due to regional geopolitical tensions. Despite the change in location, the race will retain its official Bahrain Grand Prix identity throughout the weekend.
Beyond the sold-out G Hillstand tickets, other seating options remain on the market for spectators. These include spots at the B and C Hillstands priced at RM809.60, as well as the F Grandstand.
The availability of the RM200 tickets represents the most affordable method for Malaysians to experience the F1 race weekend live. The rapid sell-out of these passes highlights the significant local interest in high-profile motorsport events held on home soil. As the government considers increasing the ticket allocation, residents looking to secure a cost-effective way to attend the Grand Prix should monitor official channels for future announcements regarding further availability.
