Royal Malaysia Police Adds Jebatt F29 Electric Motorcycles to Fleet

The force has received its first batch of high-performance electric tactical bikes to enhance operational mobility in challenging terrains.

The Royal Malaysia Police has officially taken delivery of the first 10 units of the Jebatt F29 All-Terrain Tactical Assault E-Bike (ATEB). This handover at the Bukit Aman police headquarters marks the start of a larger procurement of 100 motorcycles, as reported by the original publisher, paultan.org.

The acquisition of the 100 electric motorcycles is funded under the 12th Malaysia Plan, Fourth Rolling Plan, with a total project value of RM2.3 million. This equates to a cost of approximately RM23,000 per motorcycle. The symbolic key presentation was made by RTG Intech Corporation management director Mohamad Roslan Ramin to Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail.

Engineered for tactical use, the Jebatt F29 is designed to navigate diverse terrains with a low acoustic signature. The motorcycle features a 72-volt, 60 Ah battery and a smart charging system, enabling a top speed of 120 km/h and 85 Nm of torque. These performance specifications aim to provide the police with greater flexibility during deployments.

The introduction of these electric off-road motorcycles is intended to strengthen the mobility of the police General Operations Force (KDNKA). By replacing or supplementing conventional vehicles, the force expects to improve its capability to operate in areas that are otherwise difficult to access.

This transition to electric tactical vehicles reflects an effort to maintain operational readiness against modern security challenges. The bikes are expected to be deployed for a range of duties, including border patrols, special operations, and conflict management, ensuring the force remains effective in high-risk scenarios and hard-to-reach environments.
