U Mobile Debuts Enterprise Innovation Platform to Accelerate 5G-A and AI Adoption

U Mobile has officially launched its Enterprise Innovation Platform (EIP) hub, a new facility dedicated to helping companies develop, test, and demonstrate 5G-Advanced and AI-enabled business solutions. The launch event in Petaling Jaya was attended by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and U Mobile CEO Wong Heang Tuck.

According to the original publisher, the hub is designed to bridge the gap between various stakeholders, including enterprises, technology providers, academia, advisers, and public sector representatives. By fostering this collaborative environment, the platform aims to reduce the risks associated with new technology implementation while accelerating the adoption of digital tools to achieve faster business outcomes.

During the launch, the EIP hub showcased several practical applications of its integrated technologies. Demonstrations included AI-driven visual intelligence designed for real-time operational monitoring, as well as 5G-enabled drone patrolling capabilities used for autonomous inspection and surveillance. The event also featured the introduction of "Luka," an AI-powered humanoid assistant, highlighting the potential for advanced robotics in enterprise settings.

Wong stated that the initiative aims to provide an environment where organizations can confidently explore and scale innovations. He emphasized that as digital adoption continues to gain momentum across every sector, strong collaboration between the government, industry players, and technology partners becomes increasingly essential for national growth.

This platform arrives as Malaysia continues to make significant strides in its digital infrastructure development.
