Zeekr Malaysia Expands Discounted DC Charging Rates to All DC Handal Sites
Zeekr owners can now access a flat rate of RM1.20/kWh at any DC Handal charging station nationwide by completing a simple registration process.

Zeekr Malaysia has officially expanded its exclusive charging benefit, allowing all owners of the brandโs electric vehicles to access any DC Handal charging station across the country at a special rate of RM1.20/kWh. This move marks a significant upgrade from the previous arrangement, which limited the discounted pricing to a select number of locations.
To activate this preferential rate, owners are required to download the ChargEV app and register for an account. Following registration, users must complete a specific onboarding form provided by the company. It is essential for owners to ensure that the email address used in the onboarding form matches the address registered to their ChargEV account to successfully trigger the discount.
According to the original publisher, Zeekr Malaysia General Manager Eddy Lu stated that the company decided to extend the rate due to the growth of its local owner community, which has now surpassed 5,000 vehicles. The initiative is intended to make fast charging more accessible and rewarding for current owners as the brand continues to scale its presence in the local market.
Looking toward future infrastructure, Zeekr Malaysia has also outlined plans to establish 30 Zeekr-branded charging stations throughout the country over the next three years. This expansion strategy runs alongside ongoing efforts by various stakeholders to improve the public charging ecosystem, which remains a critical factor for EV adoption in Malaysia.
As Malaysia continues to navigate the transition toward electric mobility, consistent access to reliable and affordable fast-charging infrastructure is vital for consumer confidence. By leveraging partnerships with established network providers like DC Handal, Zeekr is addressing one of the primary concerns for EV drivers: the long-term cost and availability of high-speed charging. Such initiatives are expected to play a key role in supporting the growing number of Zeekr vehicles on Malaysian roads.
