Zeekr Malaysia Partners With DC Handal For Exclusive Charging Rates
Zeekr EV owners can now access a preferential charging rate of RM1.20 per kWh across the DC Handal network.

Zeekr Malaysia has officially expanded its owner privileges, allowing customers to benefit from a discounted charging rate of RM1.20 per kWh at all DC Handal charging stations nationwide. This new initiative aims to improve accessibility to fast-charging infrastructure for the brand's electric vehicle drivers.
To take advantage of this pricing, owners must utilize the chargEV application. According to the original publisher, users are required to download the app and register an account if they have not done so already. The process involves filling out an online onboarding form that links the user's email address to their specific vehicle identification number.
Once the form is submitted, the activation of the preferential rate is expected to be completed within 24 hours. After this period, the RM1.20 per kWh rate will apply automatically at all DC Handal charging points. Previously, this specific price point was limited primarily to selected charging locations situated along key travel corridors on the North-South Expressway.
Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Malaysia, stated that the move is designed to make fast charging more rewarding and accessible for all owners. He noted that the initiative serves as part of the companyโs broader commitment to developing a stronger ownership experience for its customers in the local market.
For Malaysian EV drivers, the expansion of such partnerships is significant as it reduces the cost burden of long-distance travel and daily charging. By standardizing the preferential rate across the entire DC Handal network, Zeekr is addressing key concerns regarding charging costs and infrastructure convenience, which remain critical factors for the wider adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
